Hi to all slaves and their piggies. My sweet boy Amos has been feeling a little under the weather, not eating and lethargic. The vet put him on Bactrim, and he seemed to improve. Last Wednesday he stopped eating again. The vet did a blood test and found out that his liver enzymes were elevated. So now he's on S-Adenosyl, a type of antioxidant. I did a google search and supposedly it helps to improve liver function in humans and animals. Has anyone used this medicine for their piggies ? If so, did they notice an improvement in their piggies health ? Amos has to go for another blood test in a few weeks, so I'm hoping the medicine works.
