So sorry to read about your piggy's problems. One thing that occurs to me
when you describe the "hopping" motion is a vitamin C deficiency.
A neurological problem is a possibility and perhaps is related to the
possible vitamin deficiency.
My Wilson died a year ago today and his primary symptom was weight loss.
His vitamin C injection and supplements didn't work any miracles and I never
ended up with a really clear reason for his decline -- decline in spite of
medical care and my best efforts.
There is sometimes a kind of wasting disease and no one seems to know
how to intervene.
I wonder if you're syringe feeding her to help her get down more food?
I ran across this web address last night in my "saved places":

     http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9RDrKsgA9Yw&mode=related&search=

It is a demonstration of syringe feeding a piggy. I didn't syringe
Wilson nearly enough food and critical care tho I thought I was until I discoved
the demonstration on the computer last pm. He was so weak near the end. And yes,
I did finally have to help him to the Bridge but don't be discouraged by my
experience.
Canned pumpkin (just the plain pumpkin, not the kind that's all premixed
with spices, etc., for a pie) is good and the critical care is the best of
all things. Baby strained green veggies are good to syringe.

I really wish you well with your little Angela. I've been syringing
antibiotics for the past 2 weeks, and I'm not good at it. My hands shake and the
piggy moves his head around. However, Jolly Rodent Charlie (my piggy "patient")
and I are getting better at working as a team. He loves the taste of his
medicine! He doesn't have anything critical wrong with him, fortunately.

I truly wish you all the best and hope that someone can be more helpful.

Alge and the Jolly Rodents
