Susi and the OPs, we have never known a piggie who had panic attacks, 
but it does sound as if this indeed was what was happening with Benson.  
We are so very sorry that he had such a difficult time when taken to 
both vets, and that the second time he didn't make it.  Perhaps, as you 
said, he was simply living on borrowed time; since he was born with his 
front legs to the side, maybe he had other, underlying physical 
problems.  We hope that Jennifer knows that she did all of her best for 
him and tried as hard as she could to get him well; we are sure he knew 
how much she loved him.  Thank you for sharing some of his story.  How 
sweet that he was such a good father after his wife, Francine, passed 
away.  Please give our condolences to Jennifer on both Benson and 
Francine's passing, as well as our best wishes for their babies, Maple, 
Junior, and Presley.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all sick piggies and their families.
