[Gpdd] RAINBOW BRIDGE: Aquinnah

Aquinnah died.
 
She was doing better Thursday night, but starting going downhill again  
yesterday afternoon.  Even though I was syringing her the pellet/pumpkin  mash and 
fruit juice, she wasn't eating on her own and she stopped dooting  yesterday 
afternoon.
 
Brought her to the vet this morning for a repeat flush.  He took  another 
picture and noticed that there was a blockage way up in her  intestines.  It was 
one of the same blockages that was there in the  last picture, but he wasn't 
sure if the bloat was causing it, or if it was  causing the bloat.  Well, it 
was still there.  He wasn't sure if he  could get to it, but figured it was 
worth a shot.  He gave her another  enema, and tried to break it up.  The other 
option was surgery, wich Craig  and I can't afford.  He didn't charge me for 
this visit.
 
I brought her home, and within a 1/2 hour she was fluffed up in the corner  
of her cage and moaning.  It got worse and worse throughout the  morning.  I 
couldn't stand watching her suffer. Craig and  I  brought her back to the vet 
this afternoon and he helped her over.
 
We are very sad.
