Jaime and all Good Guinea Pig Friends,
 
I am happy to report that Alyssa is doing better. She is still having  
Physical Therapy 3-4 times a week (and will continue this, for the foreseeable  
future), but is able to do a lot more things each day. She still has pain, and  
sometimes it's severe, but she is really recovering well.
 
Her short-term memory loss continues, but her head-aches have almost  
completely gone away. Her left arm is still relatively weak and tires easily,  but 
she is trying to build her strength back up. She is planning to go back to  
school this fall!
 
Thank you so very much for all the good wishes, thoughts, and prayers. You  
have all been such a loving, caring, supportive community. All your cards,  
e-Cards, get well gifts, and Care packages did so much in helping to get us  
through each day of this trying time.
 
I really cannot thank you all enough. I appreciate this whole wonderful  
community more than words can say. Guinea pig people are the BEST!!!!!!
