Liz, I once had a dwarf rabbit named E.B. White. You might possibly
remember hearing about him. He lived to be almost 12 years old. He was
pals with several of our piggies during his lifetime. Although he never
roomed with any of them, he did have playtime with them.

Fortunately E.B. was quite small, only 2 pounds, 2 ounces. This meant
that he was actually smaller than our piggies. He was also very laid
back, and we never saw him kick anyone. (The vacuum cleaner was another
matter; he would run up to it when it was vacuuming "his" room and try
to push it away with his nose.) He, Rippley, and Calliope was buddies,
as were he and Toby. When E.B. was getting quite old and slowing down,
he would nuzzle his head into Toby's long fur as they sat on the floor
together; I think Toby was comforting him.

Of course, E.B. had his rabbit pellets, and the piggies had their guinea
pig pellets.

This is just my experience. I realize that things could have been very
different if E.B. were, say, a 15-pound rabbit. Fortunately the
piggies never gave E.B. any illnesses, nor he they.
