It may take a long time to tame your new pig down. I
had one that took a couple of years of working with
her every day. Some never tame down.
Peter Gurney said that the babies have the personality
of their Mother most of the time. I have found this to
be true.
I took in a pregnant rescue that had 3 boys. I held
the boys as soon as they were born. They were still
wet. All three boys were very jumpy, they hated to be
held, and the one that I still have(3 years old) is
very jumpy. He will still nibble on me to put him
down. Their mother was exactly the same way.
It takes a lot of one on one with the little one. I
use to put them on my lap when I watched TV. I called
it quality petting time. Good Luck!!
