Mikey, I read somewhere that one theory is that cavies were sold for a guinea and since they squealed like pigs, they tacked that on to the end of it. I don't know if this has any merit, but I did find it an interesting theory. Anyone else? Piggy Kisses, Maren, Rosie, and Charlie
