[Gpdd] [MISC.] New Piggie Portrait and Pepper's 6th Birthday

Greetings!

First of all, we would like to extend our heartfelt sympathy to those who 
have recently lost a precious piggie friend. We have had our share of losses 
in the past few months, and understand so well how terribly heartbroken you 
must feel. After we lost Flick in October of 2006, our darling Newbie left 
us in November. She was well over 5 years old, and left us very peacefully 
early on the morning of the 26th. Then, a few weeks later, in the early 
morning hours of December 15th, our beautiful Stripe passed away. He was 
only a few weeks past his 5th birthday. C.J. was about 5 1/2 years old when 
I had to have him helped over the bridge on Valentine's Day. His cancer had 
returned, and this time there was no help for it. We were blessed in that 
his surgery of 2005 had given him over a year of extra time with us.
Now for some good news....We celebrated Pepper's 6th birthday on March 1st. 
She was the very first piggie pal to become a member of our family in 2001, 
though it seems like only yesterday. I can still remember how she looked as 
my youngest son held her in his arms and begged me to take her home. We gave 
her lots of love and attention, but were afraid that she might be lonely for 
the company of a fellow piggie pal, so we brought home Big Cinnamon....a 
"she" we were told, who turned out to be a "he". You can guess what happened 
next....yep, our piggie pal family grew a little larger, and over the years 
more piggies have joined the family so that there are now 17 lovable and 
much-loved piggies sharing our humble abode.
About the new piggie portrait...I started this one over a year ago and after 
losing Stripe decided to put the finishing touches on it. I was finally able 
to do so without crying, and if you would like to see it, I have posted a

left is Mr. T, the brother of Stripe, who is on the right. We hope that it 
will make you smile!:o)
