I'm not a vegetarian so I have no room to talk.

My best friend and her family have a guinea pig and a snake.  The snake must be fed feeder mice.

My response whenever people tell me about guinea pigs, rabbits, mice, dogs, cats, etc. used as a food source for humans or other animals is "not my babies."

My hope is that all creatures used for food have good lives before they are used that way and that all of us who do eat meat recognize that a life has been given to feed us.  And yes, I do make every effort to buy organic and "cruelty free" meat.
