Dear Sir

Guinea Pigs are an important food source in the Andes for a native population going back to antiquity. Here in the United States Guinea Pigs are honored pets to most folks and as such they have a large and vociferous following. As was pointed out in our petition, guinea pigs are extremely intelligent little beings and are capable of deep and abiding love for their caretakers and each other. Guinea pigs are not a natural food source to alligators or are rabbits. Guinea pigs and their rabbit cousins are capable of complicated training routines with clickers and other methods. This makes them, in the natural hierarchy, superior to alligators. You may as well make a case for feeding people (minus clothing) to wolves and bears and even alligators. Please stop this practice and find another way to feed your alligators, they managed to exist since antiquity themselves with out eating guinea pigs. Purina perhaps if road kill doesn't satisfy you.

thank you
Sandra Oliver-Poore
