Your letter to the zoo was wonderful.  You expressed everything so well.
Please do not feel deflated.  You have made that zoo have to sit up and
address an issue they had not even considered before.

The zoo has rules and regulations to fufil and as long as it does that, I
suppose they do not feel the need to change their habits.  However, they
have an obligation to their livestock.  Maybe you could campagin for the
release of the crocodiles and alligators from the zoo so that the guinea
pigs aren't required anymore!  No animal should be in a zoo.

You made your point perfectly.  The fact that David Kledzik has taken issue
with you and also that of the wording of your petition shows you have
touched a nerve and made him repsonsible for the way he operates the zoo.

Don't be discouraged.  Your petition is still running and the more
signatures it gets, the more zoo will have to sit up and take notice.  Maybe
you could let the local press there know of your petition and the situation.
They may feel there's a story there, and of course, it gives the petition
some extra publicity.
