Hi all, i know its a guinea pig site and i usually write about them, i have
8. But i found this very upsetting. My sons girlfriends rabbit has got teeth
problems i thought he would have to have them clipped or filed. She came
home from the vets in tears last night. The vet said he has to have ALL his
teeth taken out. Something is badely wrong with them caused by too much
inbreeding. She got him from a farm hes only two.
How on earth is he going to survive with no teeth at
all. Thats if he survives having it done. Hes a lovely rabbit with a hearty
appitite, will life ever be good for him again.
Please if anyone has heard of this before or heard of
rabbits living with no teeth could you let me know, the vet also said when
the teeth grow back they might be like it again then he would have to go
through it all over again. I also have a rabbit and he is lovely i know how
Laura feels. Thanks from Carole x
