Last of the reminders!

TONIGHT, March 9th, is the First Annual International Candlelight Ceremony in memory of Peter Gurney. All you need to do is light a candle, in the evening at or around 8:00 pm, in your particular time zone, in memory of Peter Gurney.

Peter Gurney died in July 2006 of cancer in England, and the GPDDer's decided to remember his spirit annually on March 9, the day of his birthday. He was a tireless advocate of guinea pigs, and his books and website continues to help everyone here.

You can share the moment with your piggies, a loved one (or ones) or alone. This is a wonderful way to also remember our piggies who have crossed the Bridge and are now with Peter Gurney, receiving the very best possible care from him (because you know he is looking after them all). As we light our candles, the spirit of our light will move around the world.

After our memorial, if you would like to send me an email, giving me your town, state, and country, I will compile a list of places where the candles were lit, and I'll post it on the Digest.

I'll be lighting a candle tonight from Burtonsville, Maryland, USA
  Audrey and her GP, Gordon
