Just a couple things-I ran across an 
  article on this lady with her pet rats, nice
  article (there are more). Very similar to our
  own pursuits here. So to use this, in a way,
  to our advantage as well, I then posted a
  link to it on the Care2News website, with
  a couple comments, all quotes from the 
  two stories I read. If anyone cares to read
  this, then flag it, it becomes more visible
  on their website. Promoting our rat friends
  will likely get more attention to small pets
  in general, which isn't bad.

  icon to the left of the picture. (you may

  But in researching this a bit, I found The
  Rat Fan Club online. They apparently 
  already have a campaign to stop the 
  feeding of live animals to reptiles, 
  doesn't mention zoos in particular.
  Still, would be worth contacting them
  perhaps, maybe we could join forces.
