Peter Gurney wrote "These creatures are quite capable of causing serious "addiction" on the part of the owner. The symptoms are usually deep contentment and an absorbing interest that grows in direct ratio to the number of guinea pigs that come into your life!"

Having had up to 35 piggies here in my little sanctuary ( currently 24 ) I fully agree with his statement.
