Hello Slave!

We are all having a wonderful time here at Camp Elsinore and can't wait for the Games to begin.

The girls have all been shopping and have maxed out on their Egg Cards so we hope that you have been working hard to settle their bills. They are also delighted that there will be make-overs and pigicures and have signed up for those. The boys and I are, of course, too manly for that sort of thing, although we might convince Frodo to have a shampoo! It could save you having to chase him around the bath after we return home.

We have made loads of lovely new friends from around the world and are awaiting new ones every day. We are watching out for the famous Duke any minute now and will escort him to Lady Bug, who has been hanging out with us all.

Diamond says that she is so pleased that she emailed Chester as he is a very handsome and gentlemanly boar and has been teaching her and the rest of the girls how to play baseball among other things..............

Daisy, Gingerbread and Mayflower have been having fun with Jan the boar, who is a very good soccer player, having watched the tactics of the Dutch team on the television at home.

We have all been practising at our elected sports as well as eating the marvellous feasts that Mary Fran and her team have provided.You will have to try hard to match this when we are at home again.

My fellow LAPS members have been rehearsing the opening ceremony, with all the extra eating, as well as our Sumo wrestling with Charlie and Chester.

In fact, we have been thinking of applying for American citizenship so that we can all stay here. We all love the beach - it is not all pebbles like at home.

The mice have made new friends and we have hardly seen them since we got here so I hope that they will turn up for their various duties at the Games.

Love to Merlin, our cockatiel, who is getting all the attention while we are away and that tortoise, who has come to stay and is probably eating all of our lettuces.
