Hi Jaime,

I don't know about "expert" and I can't help with the Febreeze problem but I have a ceiling fan in my sitting room, where some of the Piggyfriends live.

It doesn't get a lot of use here in chilly, damp England but our last few summers have been increasingly hot and the fan has been used without any ill effect to the piggies, who are in pens on the floor but not directly under the fan. The ceiling is about 9 ft. high. I never have the fan on the fastest setting as it looks to be in danger of rocking itself out of the ceiling and flying away. On the lower settings, I find that the air is cooled without creating a breeze.

I have floor standing fans in the other rooms containing piggies and face the fans away from the pens so that the air is cooled without creating a draught. Piggies can so easily overheat and heatstroke can be fatal. If you think that she is in a draught, you could always drape a towel over the front part of her cage when the fan is on and she could still enjoy the cooler environment.

Hope that this helps.

Penny and the Piggyfriends, making new friends and having a wonderful time at the Games.
