[Gpdd] [RAINBOW BRIDGE] Condolences for Tom

Donna - Huck, Thatcher, Big Jim, Becky, and Aunt  Polly

We were so very sorry to learn of the departure for the Rainbow Bridge of  
your beloved Tom. We know only too well how frustrating it is to have a piggie  
sick with an underlying problem that no one can really diagnose. We, like you, 
 have limited vet care here in rural France, with no one who understands 
piggies  or an perform dental work on them without anaesthetic. We contact Cavies 
Castle  in the UK for advice when we have a problem, and they were able to 
advise us  recently over the phone when Zebra broke his front teeth trying to get 
in with  the girls, but it is virtually impossible to make diagnoses long 
distance, so it  is hot and miss with anything serious.
 
Tom was lucky to have been rescued by you, and we are certain he knew that  
he was loved. It is merciful that he passed away peacefully asleep in his cosy  
pigloo, and if he was rescued three years ago you have given him a longer 
life  than he would otherwise have had.
 
We are thinking of you all at this sad time, and send you all cyberhugs  from 
our quiet little corner of France.
