Sorry to be so late with my reply but, yes, pea pods are safe for piggies to eat.

The pea season here in England is very short, so the Piggyfriends only get to eat them for a short while, but quite a few enjoy a pod or two mixed with their other veg. Not a universal favourite but if it is green, it must be good.

They all prefer bean pods, which have a longer season.
