Hi Carly, Phil of Cobweb cavies in the UK sent me these instructions. If you
need any further clarification I'm sure he'd help you. Tell him that I
recommended him. Seems very helpful and nice. I'm not going to post his email-- which
was not all spaced so far apart as it did when I copied it here. Too bad we
don't all live very close to each other and could pitch in on a bottle and
share. I may end up going the some route as you. He says oral is fine -- most info
is here. IF you contact him and get further info, will you forward a copy to
me, too?

Hi Beverly.
I have sent ivermectin to the USA before but it's not really practical
because the shipping costs push the price through the roof and your customs
officers don't like it because it's a liquid and with all of the extra precautions
because of the terrorist threats it can get a bit tricky.
There is a product that you can get over there that will do the job,
unfortunately the smallest amount that you can buy is 50ml which is a huge amount for
one pig.
It's called Ivomec 1% and it's supposed to be given by injection but it
works great when given orally, you can buy it from
http://www.allivet.com/IVOMEC-p/25010.htm which is just one of the outlets but it does cost about $40 with
shipping but it costs me about $30 to send 10ml to the states so it's probably a
far better buy for you.
If you decide to use this product I can send you all of the relevant
information and dosage instructions.
Ivomec will keep for a good two years and probably longer so if you do
decide to invest in a 50ml bottle it will last you for ages. Now for a 3 pound
piggie you would need to give three, 0.2ml doses so a course of treatment would
require less then 1ml of Ivomec so you can see that a 50ml bottle is a massive
amount to buy but it's the smallest amount that you can get from normal
suppliers.
Converting ml's to cc's is easy, 1cc = 1ml so Charlie would need three doses
of 0.2cc's.
The Cavy fancy in the USA is still in it's infancy as it's still a
relatively new hobby over there but it's catching on fast. In fact I've just shipped 2
pairs of my best Self Blacks to a fancier in Long Beach who wanted to start
breeding them.
Good luck and let me know how you get on.
Phil
