My Dear Digester's,
Yes, I have been lurking and learning for about a year now. I have welcomed new piggies and grieved along with the rest of you on those we've lost. I am compelled to ask your advise because I've not really seen a topic dealing with this situation. I brought home my Dinky AKA "Dinx" almost a year ago. I just wasn't prepared for how much I would love this little creature. He has completely stolen and enslaved my heart! He was a baby when my son bought him last year for Christmas ( at Pet Smart. He worked there.) for our six year old daughter, Stormie. As I was purchasing supplies for Dinx, a rescuer, Andrea was watching me and finally approached. She begged me not to buy from the supplier. She explained that so many were in need of rescue. I felt bad, but it was already a done, and I had no idea... I took her card and promised I would call should I have any challenges or questions. Well almost a year later my Dinx has grown into such a fine big boy. I
take him out of his "house" about every other day to have free range and to snuggle. Last week, I noticed a lump under his skin towards his back left flank. OK, it scared me to death. We don't have any Exotic Specialists here in Fort Worth, Texas that I know of... Only in Dallas. Is this something that I should be terrified of? Is it common? He doesn't seem to be in any pain when I roll it around under my fingers. It's just beneath the skin. Any help and advise from you would be so appreciated. I trust you all, above anyone in this field.

Sincerely, and anxiously awaiting your reply, Love,
Sabrina and Dinky Doo~

For God so loved the world...

Sabrina~
