[Gpdd] Misc: The Birthday Gift

Hello Slaves,
I've been meaning to tell you all about something.
Last month, I hosted my neighborhood's Girl's Night
close to my B-Day. Whenever one of the girlies has
a B-Day, we try to celebrate accordingly. So, one of
my coworkers, Rita, decided to come. Well, a couple
of days before the party, I saw an ad (from Wachovia's
buying/selling bulletin board) on Rita's desk. And I saw
that the ad was selling 2 guinea pigs plus cage, etc. for
$75 dollars. So, immediately, I'm enraged (but I didn't
show it) cuz Rita has 2 (foster) children under the age
of 3 and I just knew that she was getting these pigs for
them. And Rita is all over the place...she can barely take
care of herself and her 2 kids, much less 2 guinea pigs.

So, I start drilling her about it. And she had grabbed the
ad and tried to hide it and she wouldn't answer me, at
first. So, I tell her that g-pigs are not appropriate pets
for kids under 3 and that I hope she understood the
responsibility that she would be taking on, etc. etc. etc.

Well, ya'll are not going to believe this, but she finally
confessed that the 2 g-pigs were supposed to be a
B-Day gift to me, from her & the rest of my team. She
had convinced my other team members that I wanted
more pigs and that this would be the purrrrfect gift...
WRONG! So, now I am enraged. Oh, and she had
collected $money$ from the whole team and everything.
I was stunned.

So, then I told her that Blaine and I would need to
discuss things before bringing a pet into our home.
And that Blaine would be very angry if he came back
from travel and we had 2 pigs. And I asked her what
if I didn't want the pigs??? And she said that she would
have just taken them home. Like, oh Lord!

So, Rita had to call the lady selling the pigs and tell her
that she was no longer interested in them.

Can You All BELIEVE THAT?!?!?!?!?
