Hi all,

Thanks to all of you who wrote me privately and on the list about my stupid
mistake of giving my girls tomato plant leaves. I could just kick myself.
I actually have an upset stomach today after worrying so much about it. I
called my vet and they told me just to keep an eye out for diarrhea and that
in all likelihood, they should be OK. So far, I am keeping them close at
hand so I can keep watching for their poops and to make sure they don't turn
to diarrhea. Their behavior is pretty much normal except for the continued
rumblestrutting and that this time, it is Tabitha making the sounds. They
were sitting beside me on the couch when I heard the sound again so put my
hand down to see if I could tell which one it was. It was Tabitha. When I
touched her/him? she ran over to a pillow and shoved her head under it and
refused to come out. When I tried to pick her up, she bit me, which is very
unusual for her. I don't know whether to attribute it to my interrupting
their romantic interlude or to her having an upset tummy. At any rate, they
are in their pen now where I can still keep an eye on their poops and they
are running around and going back and forth through the various tubes and
seem to be feeling fine. So, I'm keeping my fingers crossed. God, do I
feel badly that I fed them those leaves. I have learned a good lesson and
am now reading up on all the stuff they should and should not have.

Thanks again,
Lynn
