The Agouti piggy looks much like the original wild guinea pigs, from which all of our little ones are descended. They have a sheen to their coats which is caused by the tip of the hair shafts being a lighter colour than the main part of the hair.

Agoutis come in different colours, silver, lemon, cinnamon, golden etc. Many Piggyfriends past, who were agoutis, have been real characters. I don't know if this has anything to do with the hair type or pure coincidence but they have left me with a soft spot for agoutis, which is why I love your Mimi.

I have never noticed that their hair feels any different to other types of smooth coated piggies.
