Oh Duke, what a sweet guy you are.  Lady Bug is very excited and wants to meet your plane when it lands.  Remember, she'll be the short black/white one standing by the stairs.
   
  She is just so wound up about the tea she keeps giving me advice about making the apple/cranberry scones.  (She also keeps trying to eat the ingredients since she loves both apples and cranberries!)  Since the apple harvest is going on now she thought it would be nice to take some to eat on the plane.  She'll bring plenty for anyone else who might be on the same flight as well.  She'll have her own little duffel bag and I've taught her how to drag it so it will be easier to handle.  (It's what I always did with mine.)  Since it will be so full she couldn't possibly carry it.
   
  Your Granny is so nice to part with one of her beautiful roses.  I have no doubt you'll share it the same way the two of you did the last time - you'll eat it immediately!
   
  We'll see you at the airport on Saturday.  You'll have to leave then to be in England on Sunday.  It's that darn International Date thingy again.  Just ask your Granny.
