[Gpdd] Health: Attn Cindy/Bladderstone or UTI

Cindy,
     I'm worried about your piggy. Did you say you had had him to a vet?
     He could have a UTI or even a bladderstone. The hunching up sounds like 
real pain to me and I've been through this with Ebeneezer WoollyBear and Mr. 
Cooders. Both had bladder stones and they showed up on x-rays. For a UTI an 
antibiotic should do the trick. 
     With Ebeneezer, well, in the end I had to help both him and Mr. Cooders 
to the Bridge because with surgery the pronoses weren't good.
     I'm not telling you this is to scare you but a vet does need to see him.
     Unfortunately the first vet to see Ebe said that he had no obstruction 
nor a bladder stone. Then, a day later, along came the week-end. First vet, by 
the way, did NOT do a x-ray. You may need to insist.
     Anyway, we went to a different vet in a different town on a Monday but 
poor little Ebe was too far gone. He did suffer and I'd hate to hear of any 
other piggy going through so much.
