Hi Kay, Was is a slice of pumpkin? A whole pumpkin shouldn't be gooey and dripping. That would be rotton. My girls love all squash. With a hard skin I would hack at the outside of the pumpkin to give them some places to start them off. --Mary Fran with Cookie & Little Bear
