Hey Jaime,
I know, I know. My coworker (Rita) was trying to do a
nice thing for me. But, honestly, at that point, I had only
known her for 2.5 months. My closest friend(s) from
college wouldn't have ever gotten me a pet as a
gift. And Rita, bless her heart, but she isn't the sharpest
tool in the shed, if you know whatta mean. I hope this
doesn't sound mean, but she really is one of the
stupidest people I've ever met. I know, I'm so wrong.
But, let's face it, sometimes the truth hurts. :-)

Why, Thank You for my Belated B-Day wishes. I turned
the BIG 3-5 on Sept 17. And little did I know that just two
days later on Sept 19, the Princess Snowflake would
arrive at the shelter. Sept 19th is also a very Special
Day for me because that would have been Butterscotch's
3rd Adoption Day Anniversary (sniff sniff).

And I have been meaning to tell you CONGRATULATIONS
on the arrival of the mini Mimi's. I haven't gotten a chance
to look at their pigtures yet, but I plan to do a lot of catching
up this wheekend since we have Columbus Day off. And
THANK YOU for opening up your home to foster the
muy prego Miss Mimi. It's Slaves like you that truly make
this World a better place.

          Love 'n Wheeeeeeeeeps,
Leah...Slave to the little Princess :-)

Leah-
Try not to be too mad. It sounds like maybe they were just trying to
give you what they thought would be a nice b-day present for you. Even
though their actions were kinda not very well thought out, it sounds like
their hearts were in the right place. When was your b-day? Sorry I missed
it. =( HAPPY (belated) BIRTHDAY TO YOU! =) Kisses to Snowflake!
