[Gpdd] HEALTH: sick piggie

For several days (of course it started over the weekend) my Sunshine has
been making a kind of OOOOO noise when he poops, or perhaps when he
produces cecals. I thought he had gas, so we removed greens from his
diet and began giving him infant simethicone.

He wasn't better by Monday, but my vet wasn't in so we had to wait until
Tuesday. My vet felt him, checked his teeth, took his temp (normal),
etc. He took one of Sunshine's poops and checked it for worms,
bacterial problems, and so on, but the poop was OK.

We are giving tummy rubs and chewable acidophilus, but neither seems to
be helping. We stopped the simethicone, since it wasn't helping.

In the past, a bit of simethicone and a tummy rub have always helped our
piggies to be OK within a day.

My vet thought Sunshine could return to his normal diet since the
green-free diet wasn't getting him well, so we've added a few greens
back in.

Sunshine is eating carrots and greens eagerly but now is less and less
interested in his hay and pellets. I am just not sure what could be
wrong: UTI, impaction, something else?

Should I get an X-ray perhaps?

TIA for any advice/suggestions.

Worried,
Cindy, Sunshine, Tumbleweed, and Friday
