[Gpdd] Misc. Info on leukemia event & gen. lamentations

Hi Jan and All,

     Jan, can you send me a copy (or repost) of your post regarding the 
leukemia event? I'd like to contribute a paltry sum. Wish that it could be more. 
(Can I PayPal it?)

     Otherwise, (to all)  I'm under siege by fleas and attempts (on my 
"people's" part  : ) and my own ) to rid this place of them are far from wholly 
successful. Apparently the hot hot weather has created this situation. Fleas are 
showing up everywhere -- even places where there are no pets, but I remain very 
concerned about Chester and Charlie getting them tho I think it (HOPE!) 
unlikely. 

     Cat seems to be getting bit in spite of Revolution and Frontline.

     Oh yes, and the same day I discovered that there were a h*** of a lot 
more than "a few fleas" present, I also discovered wasps getting into my house 
thru, apparently, the range hood vent. The ones that dared go on in and near my 
carpet, however, were doomed by the anti-flea fumes that kept me and my 
animals in my bedroom for 20 to 24 hours. They were at least easy to kill. (The 
grounded wasps, not the ones flying around.) The others weren't so cooperative, 
however, fingers crossed, none have survived so far. Fly swatters and wasp and 
hornet spray -- great stuff. Not good for lungs tho.

     There for a bit I felt like I could identify with the Pharaoh when God 
was sending down the 10 plagues on Egypt. I was hoping that I wouldn't find 
myself deluged with frogs next. But it appears that it will be more fleas.

     So glad to hear that you're still doin so well, Jan. We all love 
survival stories. Tomorrow is my IGg infusion as I was reminded by today's home heath 
aide. I'll sleep thru it! Miss reading and posting more but energies really 
limited and also quite scattered. I've really felt like Neurotic Nellie with 
all this creature stuff. But the fleas seem to have infiltrated the carpet in 
every room of my house, in spite of all efforts to contain and eradicate them. :
