Jaime, you've been through so much with first Albert and then with sweet
little Molly. Molly won't remember the shots. She'll remember how much you
loved her and how dedicated you were to her. They seem to sense when you're
trying to help them. My own reservations are the same as your experience. My fear
of and reluctance to inflicting pain when the little guys and girls already
feel so bad might well prevent me from doing GP injections -- unless I believed
they would "make the critical difference." Such a dilemma.

Anyway, I think it was very courageous of you.

Marsha, too, has been through the same thing (giving injections) with
Elvis and Ozzy. She said "You may be very surprised at what you are capable of
doing when you know it is their only chance for survival." Another very
courageous and loving piggy mum. And I'm sure, Marsha, that Elvis and Ozzy felt
your love through it all.

The sadness lingers a long time, and we never feel certain if we've done
the right thing when trying to help has just prolonged things.

My blessings and sympathies to both off you. And hats off to you both.

All good wishes for comfort and healing,
     Alhe and the Jolly Rodents
