Jaime,
Are you looking for an engraved stone or just a personal marker? If you
have a place that does Memorial Stones, they might provide you with a nice
piece of granite or whatever is used. When Ebeneezer WoollyBear, the first of
Jolly Rodents to leave us, went to the Bridge, I regretted not having him
cremated so that he could be close always. But I had opted to bring his little body
home (sniffle sniffle even yet). I wanted something, something special to mark
his grave. I went online to eBay and found the perfect thing for Ebe
(pronounced Ebbie), a statue of St. Francis, patron saint of the animals. I found
angels, several other things that were nice (tho watch shipping charges -- some of
these items are heavy).
St. Francis now stands guardian over all 3 of the original Jolly Rodents
as well as two once adorable little Dumbo Rats whose owner needed a place to
bury them. The lilac bush, now grown large, still shades their graves.
Continuing condolencess,
Alge and the Jolly Rodents, Chester and Charlie
