If my subject line is accurate, please forgive me. I am new on here and between the list moderator and a very nice person named Kathy, I think we have my digest problem figured out now.

My name is Lynn and I live in the Atlanta, Georgia area. I am totally blind and have been so since the age of 27. I am 49 now but that's as far as it goes!

I recently brought home Samantha and Tabitha, 2 little girl piggies that I fell in love with. My husband feigned indifference the whole time I was deciding where to get my new babies, preparing a home for them and all those other fun things we pig lovers do but once they are here and adjusting, who do you think stands over there by their cage and baby talks to them and makes sure they have *everything they need? Yeppers, good old hubby. He is now one of our ranks... a slave. Samantha is a calico colored, short haired little girl and is very soft and silky, like a mink. She is quite and sort of gentle but does squawk when things don't go just her way! And that is usually when Tabitha, the younger, longer haired brown one of the two starts getting a little bothersome to her and Samantha just wants to sleep. But overall, they do love each other and seem to have a fine old time together in their cage and play area.

I do have a couple of questions to ask but am going back to find the appropriate topic to do so in order to get the right folks responding. I am soooo enjoying going through all the archive and fell as if I am already getting to know many of you and your babies just from reading the past issues. I get tears in my eyes when I read the rain bow bridge stories because it is so dear and close to my heart. I had never heard of the rainbow bridge until my beloved Jaala, my guide dog of 10 years passed away 2 years ago from laryngeal paralysis and cancer. I truly thought I would die with her, and didn't care if I did. So, I can totally relate with all of your pains, tears and heartache when we lose one that we love so dearly.

It's good to meet all of you and I sure hope this time, his mail goes through!

Winks and Wheeks!
Lynn, Samantha & Tabitha
