  I welcome you & your piggies to the digest! This is a great place to learn all about piggies & make good friends. 
  My thinking is that the policy of the shelter is unusual. I can understand their not wanting any pregnant piggies, but spaying/neutering piggies is costly & dangerous to the piggies. It sounds like an unusual situation, but I can understand them not wanting to add to the animal overpopulation. I'd be interested to hear what the other digesters think about this topic.
