To treat mites yourself

>I use the Horse past version of ivermectin, comes in a tube, cost $5, one
>tube treats 1200 pounds of horse. That means the piggie dose is tiny, a
>small dab on the end of a Q-tip, not a glop. It should not be so big that
>it starts to hang down from the Q-tip, it should be a small round amount
>about the size of a small green pea. Try to get it in the mouth but they
>will clean it up. You give each pig one of these doses every 10 days to 2
>weeks, 3 total doses each pig 2 or three of these courses over the summer
>or another one if your weather stays warm to hot in winter. Clean all
>housing, vacuum the floors and cracks and drapes and furniture where they
>can hide I hate mite, I can imagine how the piggies feel, they get in
>their ears. When I got Manny his whole butt was hairless from them. Boy
>does he love me now, I think he knows I'm the human who blasted those
>itchers. I like to use one dose of Frontline per year for the fleas so they
>don't get immune to the ivermectin. Ivermectin is also the basis of the
>product Revolution which is prescription only, horse paste is off the shelf
>at the horse or feed store, but not usually Petco. Do not give ivermecton
>to white pawed dogs, and don't give Frontline to bunnies. Look up the over
>dose instructions on the internet, I have never had a problem with a pig
>but I darn near killed the cat( funny she has white paws too! But she
>totally recovered but she was ice cold for a day)
> Go get em.
> Manny the Boar and Sandy, safe for one more day I think the landlord may
> have given up on the inspection for now, knock on wood
