The piggie died of end stage ovarian cysts which are usually completely treatable either by hormones or spay, The water drinking and eating are the symptoms of her trying to keep up with the hormones that were burning her up. Her weight loss was a symptom of her inability to eat and drink enough to keep up with the fires that burned her up inside. The hair loss on her flanks and weight loss is a classic symptom The last blob could have been a hernia caused by the pressure of the cysts or it could have been one of the cysts it was treatable in the beginning and to some later stages if she can stand the spay. It is fairly common in middle age sows Why did the vet not treat her. Everyone with girl pig must learn these symptoms and treat promptly
