[Gpdd] HEALTH Weird Foot Issue

Piggies sometimes get hard callouses or spurs forming on their front feet. They do not hurt the piggy but can sometimes catch on the cage wire or in the hay so it is best to trim them off. If they are torn off then it is possible that the foot will bleed and the wound is open to infection.

Cut them close to the foot using a pair of nail clippers. They are likely to regrow so you will have to repeat the procedure at some time.

Several of my piggies get these callouses but they are nothing to worry about.
