Corrine

I am so sorry you lost Peppermint. It is always horrible to watch them them go and you cannot do anything else to try to help them out. It sounds like she had something seriously wrong and complicated that no one, not even the vets, could do anything about.
I know how awful you feel. I would get so upset when one of my animals died that my Mom would say that I could not have any more. I always talked her into it though. She started making me say that that I knew it was going to die before I bought the animal. I guess it helped me deal with that fact because I always keep that in the back of my head. I take the best care of my animals as I can and I enjoy them while I am blessed enough to have them.
Please try to not beat yourself up. We will always be loosing our little ones and alot of the time never really know what was wrong. They are complicated little creatures. I send my deepest condolences for your loss. I hope you find comfort in taking care of your other six pigs. They need and love you as much as Peppermint did. I know you were a comfort to her just by being there for her.
