Please forgive this off topic, but I know you guys, being everywhere and animal lovers,
can help. This horse fell out of it's trailer on Interstate 44 last Sunday morning as it travelled through NE Oklahoma. Somehow it survived, and is being cared for by a local
veterinarian. The Okla Highway Patrol says no charges will be filed, we just want to locate
the owners and let them know where their horse is!  Can you imagine? They may have been at the AQHA World Youth Finals in OKC, or really any show or rodeo, etc, and just trying to hurry home. When they finally went to unload, they may have imagined that the horse had been stolen from the trailer, etc, but some child may well be heart broken. The vet says the horse is very calm and well mannered, and will hopefully make a full recovery.
Please forward this story whereever you think it may help - they were headed NE from
the Tulsa area on the interstate.
And please say a prayer for this beautiful white, blue eyed mare!

Please help spread the word we can try to reunite this horse with it's owners.                 Last Sunday morning this horse apparently fell out of the trailer as it sped east on Interstate 44 near Claremore, OK.  Miraculously it survived, and is being cared for
by a local veterinarian.  The Oklahoma Highway Patrol stresses that no charges will be filed, no other damages occurred other than to the horse, but they desperately want to locate the rightful owners. This could be a child's performance horse, someone's roping horse - there is just no way to tell right now.
Any information should be directed to the Vinita District of the Oklahoma
Highway Patrol (see following stories).  Please share this with any local
feed stores, horse supply stores, trainers and boarding stables, etc.
