Elizabeth,

It is often said that cruciferous veggies, e.g. broccoli, cabbage and the like, can cause gas and are best fed sparingly. Gas can be extremely dangerous for piggies. I suppose that it depends on the individual piggy. Just as some humans can't eat, for example, onions without getting indigestion, some piggies are affected by greens.

Funny thing is, the only Piggyfriends who have had a gassy day recently, have been Hope and Sam, neither of whom care for this type of  vegetable. Hope leaves hers for her friends and Sam complains, in no uncertain terms, that greens are not to his liking and could he please have a cucumber instead.

Tell Edna and Mavis to lay off the cabbage if they want to be attractive to all the nice boars.
