[Gpdd] [RAINBOW BRIDGE] Condolences for The Blob

I have to admit, your description of The Blob upset me, Joanne. Somehow
you didn't seem to be honouring your master, The Blob, with the amount of
respect commonly given by we gpdd slaves to our masters. If I had ever
had a piggie like her, I would have tried to find out why she was
behaving in a way so unlike a piggie. I think I would have had her to the
vet. I certainly would not have continued the picnics with the rabbit
when it sounds very much as though The Blob did not enjoy them. I am
hoping that I am mistaken in my interpretation of your post, and that in
fact, you were just as fond of The Blob as you have been of your other
piggies. I think a lot of us would have become extra specially attached
to her because she appeared to have such special needs. I wonder whether
the blue eyes indicated a visual problem? I have never seen a piggie with
blue eyes myself. She sounds as though she was a beautiful pig. I hope
she felt loved, and I hope she is now leading an active piggie afterlife
in the Rainbow Bridge meadow. I hope you are able to come to terms with
your loss. Perhaps you regarded it as a happy release? Run free, sweet
Blobby, free from whatever impediments you had on our Earth Debbie and
the 8 Dolly Mixtures
"We patronize them for their incompleteness,
for their tragic fate of having taken a form so far below ourselves.
And therein we err, and greatly err.
For the animal shall not be measured by man.
In a world older and more complete than ours
they move finished and complete, gifted
with extensions of the senses we have lost or never attained,
living by voices we shall never hear.
They are not brethren, they are not underlings;
they are other nations, caught with ourselves
in the net of life and time, fellow prisoners
of the splendour and travail of the earth".
