Dear guinea pig friends,

This wheekend we decided it was time to make our holiday christmas pigtures.
Since Dunya was practicing being the baby Jesus in the hayrack, she gave me
a great idea for our christmas card!!
I build a stable for them out of blocks, and put the hay rack in front, It
makes a perfect stable and hay crib.
I let the girls adjust to it, luckily they are used to having our buildings
in the cage...

When Woopy and Guiny were beside the hay rack, we put Dunya on it and made
some pigtures..
The girls weren't very willing to cooperate...
Usually they are put in a different place for making pigtures, maybe staying
in their own cage meant to just relax and do what they want,
Instead of being cooperative for the pigture...
I figured it would be nice to have Chico and Toby in the pigture as well. So
I put in a little fence and put the boys left of the stable so they could be
the ox and donkey...
As usual the boys would we rumbling their asses of... They always do that
when I put them in the kitchen with the girls... Since none of my piggies
are helped, I always keep them separated with the fence..
I think they like our others company and chatting through the bars... Guiny
and Toby have gotten to like each other, and Dunya an Chico seem to like
each other too..
Woopy seems to be a bit scared of them (they do make a lot of rumbling
noises), but gets more interested by the hour...

Getting the Boys to sit still and keep the girls in their spots wasn't
working out well so we decided to first make a pigture of the girls, then
the boys, and add the pigtures in the end to make one pigture...
So I put the boys back and started taking pigtures of the girls... As I said
they weren't very cooperative, but we did manage to get one okay pigture....
Then all of a sudden I heard noises from the boys cages... Chattering teeth
and saw the boys rolling, looked even like flying, through the cage...

I ran there to stop them, slid open the top which scared them enough to make
them stop fighting....Which I was grateful for, because putting my hands
inbetween didn't seem like a good idea...
I took Toby out and he was still upset, but calmed down soon...
After they both seemed cooled off, and were even wheeking to find each other
again I put Toby back in...
Chico spend most of his time on top of the house and when he would get of,
Toby sometimes would chatter at Chico and vice versa...
but luckily they did not get in any fight anymore...

Let's just hope the boys do not get into a fight anymore... I'm still hoping
to keep the boys, but would not be able to have another cage to separate
them...
I was wondering why they started their fight? Was it because of the girls?
they usually don't get that worked up after sitting side by side in the
kitchen with the girls...
Maybe it was because it was in part of the girls cage? it must have smelled
like them everywhere...
Maybe Chico finally got fed up with Toby's constant mounting? I don't
know... I just hope they will not do it again...
I guess i'm lucky to have them back in the cage together without
fighting....

Lots of wheeks from the furry clan, Guiny, Dunya, Woopy, Chico and Toby
and scared/startled slave Mikey
