[Gpdd] Medical: Hopping

Hi,
   
  I hope all of you are doing well. I am writing with a concern about my guinea pig, Josey. I have made an appointment for with my very cavy-concious vet for this afternoon, but I was wondering if any of you had ideas about why she would suddenly be having a hard time walking on her rear legs. She is hopping more than walking and she is very reluctant to walk at all. When I hold her, she seems to want to stretch her legs out and is unsuccessfull. She gets a Vitamin C supplement every day in addition to Vit C enriched Cavy Cuisne and Timothy Hay. She is an older girl, probably more than 5. Could it be arthritis?
