Hi Everybody and Everypig

Manny's first few days have been very eventful. His first observed poos were small and dry making me think of Chester and throwing me into high gear. Turns out I think his bottle doesn't work correctly, I never saw him go to it. So I rowed up some soaked cabbage, water in shot glass, and syringe. First the cabbage, he gobbled the cabbage like he had never eaten, so then I tried the syringe, and in about a minute he had the hang of that, so I tried just holding the shot glass to his lips and he drank like no tomorrow. So I put a heavy dish of filtered water in his cage, holds about 1 to 1 1/2 cups and by evening it was down by half. Whew!!!!!!! No wonder his cage was so clean. Tanked up on water he went after the pellets gobbling at light speed.  Reminds me of my old Penny Giggles.  When I picked up their bottles for refill they would, en masse, in different cages, all go to their bowls and start eating pellets cause they knew fresh water was coming. After observing this quirky habit I was very careful not to get distracted on their bottles, even set a 10 minute timer, so they didn't gobble up pellets that would turn to cement in their tummies. Trusting lot those Penny Giggles, I miss them so. 

Anyway Manny is now shooting big manly damp poos now, has learned to eat tomatoes and oranges.  I'm sure is butt is feeling better from all those mites biting the dust instead of Manny, and he has given me his first giggle, what you all might call purring. He even had a bath and you can imagine his feelings about that. 

Now he keeps looking around, for lady pigs I think cause part of his socialization is that I read the GPDD to him ( except the sad parts).  He was initially drawn to Yaya but I told him that I think she is taken, also he was interested but very shy about Princess Snowflake. I imagine such royalty and beauty brings stars to his eyes but he's worried she wouldn't be interested in a poor rescue pig with a bald butt, but I told him that lots and lots of the piggies on GPDD were rescues and that we actually prefer to get our new Masters that way, he was a bit mollified. I think Suus is first choice right now hearing she is a bit of a tomboy made him feel more comfortable. Anybody know if she is taken or dating?

Well today our lesson is eating Vit C chewables since this slave obeyed orders to go to the store for salad and Vit C. Manny would like pen pals especially with altered boar boys and available girls, he's pretty nervous about this upcoming event (neutering) which is targeted for summertime.
Nighty night piggies and slaves, my deepest sympathies for those slaves whose piggies has gone off to the bridge, what wonderful friends they might have been to Manny. I am truly sad for their slaves, many I haven't corresponded with for a long while and others who are a close friends (read Alge for sure)
I hope Manny's advent will be a good portent for the future
