Lynn, I laughed so hard at your posting. I can just see Samantha and
Tabitha holding conference on whether they should talk to you! Our boys
have been known to hold a grudge for a week. I am so amazed they can
remember anything for that long!
All our boys give whisker kisses when fed. We don't insist, but I'll
wait a second or two before I put the food in the cages. Usually they
respond right away, but our little Will, who has recently endured two
bouts of surgery and the subsequent hand feedings and meds won't come to
the door of his cage at all anymore. As soon as I open the door he
whooshes into his pigloo, or tries to hide in the hay. He's never been
much of a talker, he has quite a raspy wheek, but he will complain if we
pick him up. As soon as he's nestled into my arms he calms down, but is
always ready to go back to his home.
Rocky, who is our Alpha pig gets extremely jealous of any attention
given to the others, and is known to turn his back to me if he sees me
giving a cuddle to either of his buddies. We have to keep all three in
their own cages as Rocky will start a rumble over floor space, let alone
food! Feef, however, forgives everything and will come to the door with
soft wheeks to ask for a chin rub, or a cuddle. Floor time is
exasperating, as you can imagine.
I'm sure the girls will eventually figure out it was only an accident
and get back to their usual selves! I believe parsley will help with that.

Suze, slave to Rocky, Will and Feef.
