Hi Debbie. First of all a big HAPPY BIRTHDAY to your 5 year olds. May they remain forever young.

Here's hoping that Fidget starts to feel better soon. Question, why do you feel you have to worm him regularly? Have you ever seen anything? Just curious and NOT trying to start a debate!

I thought you had asked about our senior piggys before. I remember several responses about 3-4 months ago. Assuming good care for the piggys, I'm not sure there is any real answer as to why some live longer than others. I suspect just genes and luck of the draw.

Lady Bug was 5 1/2 years old on the 15Th of December. She is a heart pig but is doing beautifully on 1 1/2 ml of Benazapril (Lotinsen) per day. She gets Meloxicam 0.15 ml every morning for her arthritis. Other than that she doesn't look or act her age. She does not do zoomies or popcorn but I think that is due to her blindness as she kept scaring herself. She is still very much interested in what is going on around her. She is not either gaining or losing weight.

Anyway, again, Happy Birthday to your little ones.

Joan, slave to The Lady Bug
