[Gpdd] SILLY: Duke's Party

Hello Gulliver, it's Bradley here.
 
I agree, it is wonderful of Duke's Slave, Glynis, to invite us all for the Australia Day celebrations.  Leonard and I have persuaded Mummy Slave to get a move on buying all the snacks for the plane journey, wrapping Duke's presents, gathering the treats we are bringing for the party, organising our pocket money, charging the camera battery and finishing our packing.  We will be at Gatwick Airport on Friday morning and will meet you at the check-in desk.
 
If you saw Leonard's last post, you know he has had a dilemma as to what hat to wear to travel in. He has finally made a decision - he will be wearing the sombrero.  Personally I thought it would have been more appropriate to wear his Indiana Jones-type hat and hang some corks from the brim.  However, when I suggested that to Len, he became very upset and was wheeking about his right to express himself and how he felt I was 'stifling his pigsonality'.  Harsh words were exchanged, feelings were hurt, and in the end, I backed down as I thought it best to let the young fellow do as he pleases. You know how these hormonal teenage boar-tantrums can escalate!! I didn't want him to go into a sulk and start throwing the cardboard Chube tunnel around again!!
 
We both had a bath yesterday and I gave Len's fringe another trim last night.  I rather like the asymmetric look - luckily Mummy Slave told Len he looked 'cute' this morning when she was combing his hair.  This pleased him enormously, and we are now best buddies again - I think he has forgiven me for insulting his hat choice. 
 
Daddy Slave will be driving us to the airport but Mummy slave has insisted she comes too.  I'm not sure this is such a good idea, as she is an 'emotional wreck' at the best of times.  Daddy Slave says she will be 'insufferable' when she sees our piggy rumps disappearing onto the plane, and he for one, is not looking forward to it.  We have to agree; almost everything involving us furries in the house, sets her off.  Good luck Daddy Slave - We're outta here!!
 
Can't wait to finally meet you Gulliver.  Mummy Slave says you are very clever as you are a 'Watch Pig'.  Maybe you can give us a few pointers so we can develop our surveillance skills. Leonard is also looking forward to sharing hair-care tips and styling ideas with Diamond.  
 
We are soooo excited about our trip and have been non-stop chattering and wheeking about it.  Mummy Slave has let us study the GPDD calendar so we will recognise everyone there.
