Hi...I sent a posting last week and it never made it through so this is a test and a hello for 2008!  Thank you to the creative, hardworking Mieke and Janneke for the super duper guinea pig calendar.  I couldn't download it fast enough!  I have the January pages hanging up on my office wall at work.  Thank you to Birdie too for rounding up all of the birthday dates of us slaves for the calendar.
 
To all of you who have brought a new furbaby into your home during 2007...thank you for giving them a safe, secure and happy place to live.  To all of you who have had to say goodbye to their  beautiful furbabies...I know how you feel and what you are going through.  It is such an awful, empty, frustrating, feeling of sadness.  Thank goodness the crazy, happy memories stay with us forever!
 
I usually lurk, and rarely post, on the digest but I am always here.  I just love this group and the people who share my love of, and fascination with, guinea pigs.  It is a privilege to be a part of this group!
 
Best wishes wherever in the world you are located and living with your cute guinea pigs...for a healthy, war-free, happy 2008!
