Lynn,

You have a couple options for cleaning a C&C cage. My first cage, I made a
"door" with zip ties. I put the entire cage (all grids) together with the
connectors provided except one. I zip tied that one so I could swing it
open like a door. I then made a slit in the side of the coroplast (that
makes up a wall) so it was the width of the "door". So I could swing open
the door and fold down the coroplast, hold the garbage can underneath and
scrape out the bedding.

But now, I use a dustpan. If you go with this option make sure your dustpan
doesn't have the rubber strip on the edge. I just use it as a scoop, then I
use the brush part for the last bits.

I think you may use the size of your cage as the deciding factor. I had a
door with a smaller cage and now that my cage is bigger (3X3) I find the
dustpan option to be easier for me.

I hope this helps!
